What We Do

Our Mission

At St James Parrot 4 Adopt, our mission is to provide a safe, loving, and enriching environment for parrots in need of a second chance. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming parrots into caring, permanent homes where they can thrive. With a deep respect for these intelligent and social creatures, we work to raise awareness about proper parrot care, responsible ownership, and the importance of adoption over purchase. Every parrot deserves a voice—and at St James, we’re here to help them find it.

Adoptions

We've got a whole bunch of feathered friends flapping around, just waiting to find their perfect forever homes! 🦜💚 At St James Parrot 4 Adopt, we’re all about making the right match—not just any home, but the right home for each parrot. That’s why we run a cozy foster program, where our birds become part of the family before they’re ready to spread their wings and fly off to yours. While they're in foster care, we learn all about their unique personalities—what makes them dance, squawk, snack, and snuggle—so when it’s time for you to meet your future sidekick, you’ll already have a head start. If you’re thinking about bringing a parrot into your life, take a peek at our adoption page and see who’s ready to steal your heart!

Surrender

We know that saying goodbye to a beloved bird is never an easy decision. Life happens, and sometimes surrendering your feathered friend is the kindest, most responsible choice you can make. At St James Parrot 4 Adopt, we’re here to support you every step of the way. Our goal is to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible—for both you and your parrot—while making sure they land in a safe, loving home where they can truly thrive.

Education and Outreach

We are always excited to share our love and knowledge about captive parrots and exotic birds! Check out our parrot care info page for details about caring for your bird. If you have any questions or concerns about your own birds please reach out to us as we may be able to help!
